We ask all parents to ensure that their children leave home each day wearing full school uniform, which includes our school hat. Uniforms can be purchased at Lowes, Jesmond and limited second hand uniforms are also available at the school.

Labelling
All clothing must be clearly marked with your child’s name. Lost items with names marked on them will be returned. Items without names will be sent to lost property at the school.
Footwear
Please give due consideration to the shoes that you purchase for your children to wear to school. It is very important that the shoes meet both the uniform standard and safety requirements laid down by the school.
Correct footwear for use with main school uniform. Shoes must be black, polishable leather and must not extend over the ankle or have a platform. The leather must cover the whole upper foot for safety. Boots, joggers and sneakers are not permitted.
Correct footwear for use with school PE uniform. PE shoes must have laces or velcro straps and be supportive of the feet during exercise. The whole of the upper foot must be covered. It is preferred that PE shoes be predominantly white, but this is not mandatory.
Hair, Accessories and Nails
Nail polish is not to be worn to school.
Hair should be tied back for safety and health reasons. We ask that yellow or green accessories be used.
Extreme hair colours (e.g. green, pink or purple rinses) and/or extreme hairstyles are not acceptable.
Jewellery should not be worn at school.
However, the following items are acceptable:
- Earrings – plain sleepers or small studs only (one per ear)
- Watch – one watch.
